Shipping Policy

Kia Ora Baby is an online baby store based in Auckland, New Zealand. We ship nationwide and offer pickup by appointment after an order has been placed online. Our warehouse is not open to the public and there is no walk-in retail service. We aim to dispatch most orders within 1-2 business days. Occasionally public holidays, weekends, weather events or extremely busy periods may result in extended delivery times.

We offer Free shipping for orders over $129 (exclude oversized items due to their heavy weight and bulky size, for Oversized items freight rates are displayed on the checkout page). Please note that the order subtotal must be $129 or more after any discounts or Reward Points have been applied.

For orders under NZD$129 the following shipping rates apply:

- Auckland: $6.00

- North Island: $7.90

- South Island: $9.90

Delivery Timeframes are as follows:

North Island deliveries (non-rural): 1-2 business days after dispatch
South Island deliveries (non-rural): 2-3 business days after dispatch
New Zealand (rural): 3-5 business days after dispatch

Please note that we currently only deliver to addresses within New Zealand.Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

Click & Collect / Pickup by Appointment

We offer pickup by appointment only from our Auckland warehouse after an order has been placed online.

Address Accuracy 

Please ensure that your delivery address is correct at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for delays or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.
  • Any redelivery or return-to-sender fees incurred due to incorrect address information may be passed on to the customer.


Damaged or Missing Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, or if you believe your parcel is missing, please contact us at info@kiaorababy.co.nz within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the packaging and item (if damaged)

We will work with the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


Signature Required

All deliveries within New Zealand will typically require a signature on delivery. Where possible on receipt of your Goods, please inspect the carton for damage before you sign for them. Please DO NOT ACCEPT any delivery that has any sign of damage. Kia Ora Baby is not liable for any goods that are damaged during transit.

Public Holidays

Please be aware that many of our suppliers and manufacturers are closed during public holiday / holiday periods which may impact stock availability and delivery times. Kia Ora Baby will endeavour to process orders as best we can and keep customers informed as to approximate delivery times.
